Arne Norell

1917 — 1971

Arne Norell was a versatile designer, who made use of a huge variety of techniques: turned wood, bentwood, metallurgy, and worked in a variety of textiles, emphasizing comfort while embracing combinations of materials.  His manufacturing studio in Sweden continues to fabricate his designs.
