Grete Jalk
1920 — 2006
Inspired by bent and moulded plywood designs, Grete Jalk enhanced the lines of Danish furniture with her comfortable, boldly curved chairs and other objects. Although she worked in many modes, her most well-known pieces were especially suited for quick production schedules. She went on to design wallpaper, entertainment storage systems, and upholstery, and edited the furniture and interior design magazine Mobilia.
