Having met at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, the friends began to design together, and remained collaborators until Lasen’s death.  They designed furniture both simple and timeless, and designed for both production lines and fine craftsmanship.  Their masterpiece was the “Metropolitan chair,” with its notable use of planes and curvature.
