Collection: Mogens Lassen

1901 - 1987

Influenced by the German Bauhaus, Mogens Lassen is best remembered as an architect who designed many residential buildings in the International style.  He began by designing interiors to suit these houses, and expanded his interest in design simplicity to furniture in steel, and later in wood.  He was particularly interested in kitchens, which he felt could be the central room of a house, having been inspired by the open kitchens of Parisian restaurants.
