Collection: Otto Schulz

1882 - 1970

Otto Schulz’s love of proportion and his use of antiquated ornament within modern lines mark his aesthetic.  Born in Germany, Schulz relocated to Gothenburg and designed the interiors of cares, shops, and even cruise ships before opening his own shop, followed by a magazine, and later his own design school.  His mix of opposition, and the occasional outrageous, have led to his regard as an avant-garde designer.
