Fredrik Kayser

1924 — 1968

Fredrik Kayser was a Norwegian designer who embraced the functionalism of Danish design, with its lightness and brightness, while also imbibing the value of handcraft and quality.  He was omnivorous, incorporating less popular materials such as cane and brass hardware, and occasionally chose bold color blocking alongside his more classic designs.
