Hans-Agne Jakobsson
1853 — 1943
Swedish interior decorator Hans-Agne Jakobsson is best known for his work on lamps – having employed materials as unlikely as wood-shavings in his experimentation with controlling spectrum and direction. With his attention on the emotional affects of lighting, he is known for the softening effects of his lamps.
